Flagship Fundraiser · Oct/Nov · Annual
Taste of Ireland
Thursday, November 5, 2026 · Turner Ballroom, Milwaukee

Taste of Ireland is the heart of our charitable mission. Each year we take over Turner Ballroom in Milwaukee and invite five to six local pubs to compete head-to-head: each entry brings their best Irish Stew and an Irish-inspired "wildcard" appetizer. Guests enjoy unlimited samples until the food runs out, then cast their votes for the favorites.
Beyond the food, the evening features a massive silent auction — one of the most effective fundraising tools we have for the schools we support. Live Irish music and traditional Irish dancing keep the energy high throughout the night, while speeches from division leadership connect the room to the mission behind the celebration.
The highlight of the evening is always the same: representatives from the three schools we donate to take the stage to personally thank everyone in the room. It's a powerful reminder of why we gather — and why it matters.

Why It Matters
Every Ticket Supports Our Schools
Every dollar raised at Taste of Ireland goes directly toward supporting the three Catholic schools AOH Milwaukee is committed to. The silent auction, ticket sales, and bar proceeds all feed into that mission.
Whether you're a brother, a donor, or simply someone who loves Irish food and a great evening out — your attendance makes a difference for students and families in Milwaukee.
