Membership in the Ancient Order of Hibernians in America is confined to men 16 years of age and older who are practicing Roman Catholics of Irish birth or descent and who are citizens of the United States or who have declared their intentions to become citizens of the United States of America. A practicing Catholic has been confirmed and attends Mass and receives Communion at least as often as required by the Catholic Church. Being of Irish descent means that you can attest that you have an Irish ancestor. If you wish to become a member, you can download the membership application and either bring it to the next meeting of the Milwaukee Division or mail it, along with the first year dues of $40 ($30 thereafter) to the AOH Milwaukee Division, c/o Irish Cultural and Heritage Center, 2133 West Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53233-1910.

Prospective members do not need to worry about any of the information in the boxes on the bottom of the membership application and should include a current email address. If you need more information or have questions, please send an email to webmaster@aohmilwaukee.com.

Women, consider joining the Ladies AOH! The rewards are Fun, Friendship, and Fundraising for Catholic service-oriented charities. The Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians is recruiting Roman Catholic women who are Irish, either by birth or descent, or who have a parent or spouse who is an active member of the AOH. The Ladies AOH is a not-for-profit organization that participates in community and cultural activities such as Irish Fest and the Irish Fest Mass and the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Bluemound. Regular meetings are held at Derry's Pub. Those interested in membership should contact Vickie Byrne, Membership Chairperson, at careereducator@yahoo.com or Mary Kuehn, President, at (262) 965-3071.
